Upon accessing the online gapfill, you'll encounter a text riddled with gaps and a corresponding word bank. Your objective is to strategically place the words from the bank into the correct positions within the text. While it may initially seem straightforward, the challenge can be more intricate than you anticipate.
Playing the Online Gapfill Puzzle
To engage with the online gapfill puzzle, start by clicking on a gap within the text. You can identify a gap by an empty space with a blue underline. Once you click on a gap, the underline will change to red. Now, you can input the word you believe should fill the gap. As you type, the corresponding word in the word bank will be crossed out.
Alternatively, you can select a gap in the text and click on a word in the word bank. This chosen word will be placed in the text and crossed out in the word bank.
If needed, corrections can be made to a word in a gap. All "gap words" are displayed in blue for easy identification. Click on a blue word to retype it or choose another word from the word bank.
