How can you play a word fit online?
First load a game or upload an excel file. The page will create the puzzle; this can take a couple of seconds. When the word fit puzzle is created, you will see the puzzle grid and the words loaded on the page. Click on the word in the puzzle you want to fill in. The location of the word will get a yellow background and see the cursor blinking. The first cells in the wordlist will change the background color if the word has the same length. When you clicked on a crossing (where a horizontal cross a vertical word) be default the horizontal word will be selected. when you click again, then the vertical word will be selected. When you have selected a position in the puzzle you can start to type the word. When you have typed the whole word, the word in the list will gets a different background. That makes it easier to see which words you already have filled in. When you type direct in the grid, you cannot use accents etc. These can be typed in the editbox below the grid.
When you have no idea what the word that you need to fill in, you can click on the location of the word in the crossword puzzle grid and click on the button "hint", you get a random letter from the word.
