Make your own word sudoku game maker or choose one of the saved puzzles puzzles. This version is special; there are no numbers in the puzzle, but words. The rules are still the same as the normal sudoku puzzles. Beware that working with words instead of numbers makes it much harder to solve the puzzle. It is easier to remember the low numbers instead of words when student try to solve the puzzle. Make sure you that you have enough fields visible to help them.

To create your own printable word sudoku; just type nine words in the list and download the puzzle. You will get a pdf file which you can print.
