Math Learning with Connect Four Math
Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to boost your elementary schooler's math skills? Look no further! Our Connect Four Math game is here to make learning arithmetic an exciting adventure. It comes in two flavors: Addition and Multiplication.
1. Hand out one Connect Four card to each pair of players. Give them 2 or 3 dice (depending on the game) and colored tokens for each player.
3. The player checks their card to see if the total from the dice is available (i.e., not already covered).
- If the number is free, the player covers it with one of their colored tokens.
- If the number is not on the card or is already covered, the player's turn ends, and it moves to the other player.
4. Players take turns until one of them gets four tokens of their color in a row—either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
5. If no one achieves four in a row and the card is full, the game ends in a tie.
3. The player checks their card to see if the product from the dice is available (i.e., not already covered).
